ModOps HQ is a Call of Duty modding platform. Creators create, publish, and track downloads. Players browse by title, game and type. The site hosts files directly on R2. No external links or forum posts required.

Getting started

  1. Click Open App on the landing page.
  2. Sign in with Google. We gain access to your Google ID and name only (spaces get replaced with underscores).
  3. Your Google name becomes your username + discriminator (e.g #0001). You can change it anytime from your profile.
  4. Go to Library and Users to browse or My Content to create and manage content.

Upload limits

  • Bandwidth: 1 GB on signup, then +1 GB every 7 days until you reach 10 GB maximum.
  • Content: the main downloadable file counts toward your bandwidth usage.
  • Excluded from bandwidth: avatar/banner (profile), preview image, showcase images (up to 5 MB each), showcase video (up to 100 MB).
  • Delivery: all files are hosted directly on R2. No self-hosting required (it is discouraged as we aim to solve the dead links/missing images epidemic).

Publishing flow

  1. Go to Content Management and click the create button.
  2. Fill in required fields: title, game title, content type, brief description.
  3. Click submit to create the content. Status is draft (not public).
  4. You can now edit, delete, publish and unpublish (once published) at any time - even without attaching files.
  5. Attach or remove media (preview image, showcase images, showcase video) and content files whenever you want.
  6. Click publish when ready. Once published, you can unpublish at any time (visiblity toggle).

Roles

Users are assigned one of four roles, displayed on profiles and throughout the platform:

  • Member: Default role for all users.
  • Moderator: Trusted community members.
  • Admin: Platform administrators.
  • Owner: Platform owner.

Role-specific permissions are coming soon. For now, roles are visible but all users share the same capabilities.

Privacy & accounts

  • Sign-in uses Google OAuth. We read your Google ID and name only. No email, no profile picture, nothing else.
  • Your Google name becomes your initial username. You can change it anytime from your profile.
  • Your Google account is permanently linked to your ModOps account on signup.
  • Avatars and banners are optional. You control your profile customization.
  • Termination: You can terminate your account from the accounts page. Termination is permanent and irreversible.
